Working to Understand the Development of Flavor Preferences and Dietary Habits
Our dietary choices and habits have an important impact on our health and psychological well-being. Our research laboratory at William & Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia investigates the cognitive, social, and environmental mechanisms that contribute to the development of flavor and food preferences in infancy and childhood and the daily food choices and dietary habits of adults. We use a range of behavioral experimental techniques to address these questions from a psychological perspective.
